Welcome to TIEquestrian — a place for thoughtful training, practical horsemanship, and purposeful partnerships.I have a particular passion for ponies and the process of giving them a confident, thoughtful start under saddle. Whether working with a pony, a young horse, or one who simply needs a little direction, my goal is always the same: to build a solid foundation that sets both horse and rider up for success.I believe in staying curious, continuing to learn, meeting each horse where they are, and finding training approaches that make sense for the horse in front of me. Just like people, horses are infinitely diverse in how they react to the world around them. There is no one “right way” to train a horse, but approaching with understanding, kindness, and a willingness to change one’s approach is vital for the training of any horse.Starting from humble beginnings, I know that traversing the horse world is complicated especially in an ever-changing world. I’ve learned one has to pick themselves up by the bootstraps and intentionally make space for oneself in this unforgiving industry. TIEquestrian is built from stubborn ambition and an unwavering love for these majestic and beautifully complicated creatures. (Especially when they’re under 14.2…)
